RALEIGH, NC. - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed forward Ryan Dzingel to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Dzingel $750,000 at the NHL level and $150,000 at the American Hockey League (AHL) level with a $200,000 guarantee.

"We are obviously familiar with Ryan from his previous time in Carolina," said Waddell. "He is a skilled player who can provide an offensive boost to our forward group, and we are excited to have him back in the organization."
Dzingel, 30, played with Arizona and San Jose last season, recording eight points (5g, 3a) in 32 NHL games. The 6'0", 190-pound forward previously earned 33 points (10g, 23a) in 75 appearances with the Hurricanes from 2019-21, and he has recorded 188 points (87g, 101a) in 404 career NHL games with Ottawa, Columbus, Carolina, Arizona and San Jose since debuting with the Senators in 2015-16.
