RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned forward Dominik Bokk to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL). Bokk was previously loaned to Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).

Bokk, 20, posted three points (2g, 1a) in 20 SHL games with Djurgårdens IF this season. The 6'2", 181-pound forward recorded 45 points (22g, 23a) in 127 career SHL games with Växjö HC, Rögle BK Angelholm and Djurgårdens IF. He also represented Germany at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship, registering a team-leading eight points (6g, 2a). His six goals at the tournament ranked second among all skaters.
The Schweinfurt, Germany, native was drafted by St. Louis in the first round, 25th overall, of the 2018 NHL Draft. He was acquired from the Blues along with Joel Edmundson and a seventh-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft in exchange for Justin Faulk and a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft (traded to MIN) on Sept. 24, 2019.
