RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed goaltender Beck Warm to a two-year, entry-level contract. At the NHL level, the deal will pay Warm $700,000 in 2020-21 and $750,000 in 2021-22. The deal will pay Warm $60,000 at the American Hockey League (AHL) level for both seasons, and he will receive a signing bonus of $50,000.

Warm, 21, has posted a 4-0-0 record with a 2.25 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage in four American Hockey League (AHL) games with Chicago in 2020-21. The 6'0", 172-pound goaltender played 150 career Western Hockey League (WHL) games with Tri-City and Edmonton, earning a 71-56-13 record with a 3.15 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage. Warm was also named to the WHL West Second All-Star Team in 2018-19. The Whistler, B.C., native was a teammate of Hurricanes forward Morgan Geekie with Tri-City from 2015-2018.
