He has registered two assists in 25 career NHL games with Vancouver and Carolina since the start of last season. The 6'1", 188-pound blueliner has recorded seven points (4g, 3a) in 21 AHL games with Chicago this season and leads all Wolves defensemen in goals.
Chatfield has skated in 163 career AHL games with Utica and Chicago from 2017-22, posting 24 points (6g, 18a). Prior to turning professional, the Ypsilanti, Mich., native spent three seasons with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (AHL) from 2014-17, posting 86 points (19g, 67a). He served as an alternate captain in his final season with the Spitfires and helped the team capture the 2017 Memorial Cup as Canadian Hockey League (CHL) champions. Chatfield signed with Carolina as a free agent on July 30, 2021.
