RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed forward Noel Gunler to a three-year, entry-level contract. The deal will pay Gunler $775,000 at the NHL level and $80,000 at the American Hockey League (AHL) level from 2022-23 to 2024-25, and he will receive a signing bonus of $262,500. Gunler will join the Chicago Wolves, the Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, for the remainder of the season on a professional tryout contract.
