The National Multiple Sclerosis Society hosted Walk MS: Triangle at PNC Arena on Saturday morning. Carolina Hurricanes forward Bryan Bickell, who was diagnosed with MS in November, was introduced along with his family onstage at the early-morning event.
That was expected. What happened next was a surprise to the veteran forward.

The Canes, including his teammates, coaches, equipment managers, trainers and hockey staff, joined Bickell and his family for the walk.

Through the tears and smiles, Bickell embraced his teammates.

The Hurricanes sported white t-shirts with "Bickell Brave" on the front and his No. 29 on the back.

And with that, it was time to walk around PNC Arena, a warm-up for the warm-up that would be the morning skate to follow.
