Overcoming a two-goal deficit in the third for a second consecutive game, Shayne Gostisbehere and Martin Necas forced overtime, where Sebastian Aho would then win it for the group.

• With Andersen playing on Tuesday, it is expected that Pyotr Kochetkov will take his turn in the scheduled rotation this evening.

• Gostisbehere's power-play goal on Tuesday extended his career-best goalscoring streak to four games and gave him the most goals by an NHL defenseman thus far this season (4).

• The Flames have gotten off to a great start this season, one of just four remaining teams to have not lost in regulation yet.
• Allowing just 15 goals in six games, Dustin Wolf has been fantastic in net, going 3-0 with a .936 save percentage.
