NEWS & NOTES

A Chance To Wrap It Up:A win tonight sends the Canes through to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the 2018-19 campaign.
Come On Marty, Let's Go Party:Jordan Martinook produced one goal and two assists in Tuesday's Game 4 victory, moving his series total to an NHL second-round-best nine points. #48 has now produced four consecutive multi-point games, becoming the first player in franchise history to do so.

Getting It Done Up & Down:Tuesday's Game 4 victory was the third win this series where Carolina had 10+ players record a point.
In Net:Antti Raanta was unavailable for a third straight game on Tuesday due to an illness, leaving Frederik Andersen to start a fifth consecutive contest. For the fourth time during that stretch, "Zilla" allowed just one goal, bouncing back nicely after being pulled in Sunday's Game 3. Will Rod Brind'Amour, Paul Schonfelder, and staff stay with the hot hand, or could we see what we saw in the first series, with the group going a different direction in an effort to keep everyone fresh? Raanta skated on Wednesday, but the head coach said at the time that he wasn't sure if he'd be available for Game 5.

Power Kill:Carolina's penalty kill went 3/3 on Tuesday, improving their NHL postseason-best success rate to 93.1%. According to Stathead, the Hurricanes have become the first team in NHL history to post a goal differential of +2 or better while on the penalty kill through the first 10 games of a postseason.
