RALEIGH, NC -Over the last ten days the Carolina Hurricanes have been hit with the injury bug and then slammed with some illnesses on top of it, leaving a bunch in question in terms of tonight's lineup.
Head Coach Rod Brind'Amour put a pause on all speculation to the media at availability this morning, saying that there is a lot still up in the air and not to make any assumptions based off of what was seen as skate.

For the interim, here are the facts:
Martin Necas missed Thursday's practice (illness) and did not partake in the team's morning skate today. Brind'Amour said he is a game-time decision tonight.
Jesper Fast also missed practice Thursday due to illness, but was a full participant in the team's morning skate today.
Nino Niederreiter, who has been out of the lineup with a lower body injury since October 30, participated in morning skate, but was only rotating in during line rushes. Brind'Amour said he was "not sure" of his status for tonight.
Brett Pesce and Antti Raanta were not at a part of the morning skate. Both have skated before the team's full sessions the past two days.
Again, the below does not necessarily reflect what will take place tonight, but was what was seen today at morning skate:
