Well, the Kraken were certainly happy to be home. Coming off a three-win three-game road trip that extended their win streak to four, Seattle wasted no time getting back to work. Jordan Eberle scored his first of two goals :38 into the game. Less than seven minutes later, Will Borgen added the eventual game-winner; and within the next ten minutes the score was 4-0 and Juuse Saros had been replaced in net.
With such a strong start the team knew a push was coming and it did. In the second, Nashville asserted control of the ice, but, backed by Martin Jones, the Kraken survived. The home team leveled the playing field once again in the final frame and secured the 5-1 win that saw goals come from three of the four forward lines and both forwards and defenders.
Let's look at the game "by the numbers."
