BACK IN WIN COLUMN - The Rangers earned a point for a seventh time in their last nine contests (6-2-1) and have won eight of their last 13 games. New York has earned a point in 12 of its last 17 games and in 39 of their 54 games.
HOMETOWN HEROES- New York has tallied points in six of its last seven home games (5-1-1) and has earned a point in 12 of its last 14 games at MSG (10-2-2).
COMEBACK CRAZIES - The Blueshirts earned their 18th comeback win of the season, tying them with Columbus for the most in the NHL. Tonight was New York's sixth third-period comeback of the season, tied for the fifth-most in the league. The Rangers have erased 15 one-goal deficits to earn a win, the most in the NHL. Tonight was the first time since March 30, 2021 against Washington in which the Rangers went into a third period down one goal and won by two or more goals. Coming into tonight, New York was 3-12-1 when trailing after two periods.
POTENT POWER PLAY - The Rangers have tallied 14 power play goals in their last 16 games and have power play goals in nine out of their last 14 games. Since January 15, the Rangers have a 33.3 power play percentage, the best in the NHL. The Rangers are 22-4-4 in games which they have scored a power play goal.
THIRD PERIOD PUNCTUATION - New York tallied three goals in the third period, giving them a total of 67 third period goals on the season, tied for the fifth most in the NHL. The Rangers have a plus-24 goal differential in the third period, the third-best mark in the league.
FIVE ALIVE - The Blueshirts scored five or more goals in a game for the ninth time this season and first time since Feb. 1 against Florida.
BOUNCE BACK - The Rangers improved to 13-5-2 following a regulation or overtime/shootout loss this season.

  • Artemi Panarincollected his seventh three-point game of the season (1G-2A) and first since Feb. 1 against Florida. Panarin's seven three-point games are tied for the seventh most in the NHL while his 18 multi-point games are tied for the fifth-most in the NHL this season. Since the beginning of the 2019-20 season, his 65 multi-point games are the fourth most in the NHL. Panarin has points in four of his last six games (2G-5A) has points in 12 of his last 16 games (5G-18A).
    - Adam Fox registered his second three-assist game of the season (Oct. 29 vs. CBJ) and third three-point night of his season. Fox sits at 46 assists, the most among defensemen in the NHL and tied for fourth among all skaters in the league. Fox has points in 11 of his last 14 games (2G-15A) dating back to Jan. 13 and points in 14 of his last 19 games (2G-20A).
    - Ryan Strome notched his seventh multi-point game of the season (1G-1A) and second in his last five games. Strome has tallied three goals and two assists for five points in his last five games. In his last 17 games, he has notched four goals and nine assists for 13 points, the fifth-most on New York since January 13.
    - Chris Kreider scored his team-leading 35th goal of the season, the third-most in the NHL behind Leon Draisaitl (37) and Auston Matthews (37). Kreider's goal was his 18th on the power play, the most in the NHL. His 35 goals are the eighth-most by a Ranger in a single season since 1998-99 and his 18 power play goals are the second-most by a Ranger since the 1994-95 season. Only on eight other occurrences has a Ranger recorded 35 goals through their first 54 games of a season.
    - Igor Shesterkin improved to 26-6-3 on the season and has earned at least one point in seven of his last eight games (6-1-1). Shesterkin's 26 wins are tied for the fourth most in the NHL while his .940 save percentage and 1.98 goals against average lead the league.
    - Alexis Lafrenière established a career-high in goals with his 13th tally of the season and his fifth goal in the past nine games. Eight of his 13 goals have come at MSG, tied for the third most on the Rangers.
    - Patrik Nemeth scored his first goal as a Ranger, becoming the 21st unique goal scorer for New York this season. Nemeth's last goal came on May 1, 2021 while with the Colorado Avalanche.
    - Jacob Trouba notched his 25th point of the season (8G-17A) with an assist in the second period. Trouba is the sixth Ranger with 25 or more points on the year. Trouba has four assists in his last 10 games.
    - Dryden Hunt tied his career-high in points with his 10th of the season (3G-7A), matching his output with Florida in 2018-19. Hunt has two assists in his last seven games.
    - Kevin Rooney played in his 200th career game, splitting his career between the Rangers (105 GP) and New Jersey Devils (95 GP).
