OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have announced the 63-player roster for the club's 2019-20 training camp, presented by Sport Chek, which will be held at Canadian Tire Centre starting on Thursday, Sept. 12. The Senators training camp roster includes seven goaltenders, 19 defencemen and 37 forwards.

Twenty-three (23) players from recent Rookie Showcase-winning team will attend this year's camp
Players will report for medicals and physical fitness testing on Thursday morning at Canadian Tire Centre and then move to on-ice practices and a scrimmage on Friday at the Bell Sensplex. Fans will have their first chance to see the players in action on Saturday, Sept. 14, when the team holds its annual Fan Fest, which is free to attend. Ottawa's training camp will be separated into three units, before evolving into NHL and AHL groups ahead of the Belleville Senators commencing their training camp later this month.
The 2019-20 Senators training camp roster features 11 former first-round draft picks and twenty (20) players who were Ottawa selections in NHL drafts. In addition, eight players were signed as free agents, 21 players were obtained in trades, seven players are signed to American Hockey League contracts, three players are on a professional tryout and four players are on amateur tryouts, respectively.
Twenty-nine (29) players appeared in at least one game with the Senators during the 2019-20 season while another five players dressed with other NHL clubs. Of the 28 players who were invited to the recent rookie camp and tournament in Belleville, Ont., 23 participants have been invited to training camp.
