Welcome to the Gameday Blog, the one-stop shop for San Jose Sharks fans on every gameday. This blog will be updated throughout the day with news, lineup information, videos, and tweets, so be sure to check back as the day goes on.
The road trip continues for the Sharks as they pay a visit to the State of Hockey to take on the Minnesota Wild as they try to make it a .500 trip.
After starting off the road trip with a win, the Sharks suffered back-to-back losses against the Predators and Blackhawks. While the game against the Predators (in particular the third period) was a game to forget, the effort against the Blackhawks was much more encouraging. Timo Meier scored the lone goal, but the Sharks put up 43 shots against the Blackhawks' Berube - which should be more than enough for a win most nights.
The Sharks hope to keep up that pace of play - but with more goals in the net - against the Minnesota Wild, who they've faced once before, falling in overtime to the team after making a third period comeback.
