- Tied on team for goals (29)
- Had a plus 19 rating in 82 games
- Led the NHL in shots (320) - first defenseman to do so since Ray Bourque in 1994-95
- Ranked 9th in the NHL in points
- Tied 12th in the NHL in assists
- Ranked 1st among defenseman in the NHL for points and goals
- Ranked 3rd among defenseman in the NHL for assists
- Set team record for both goals and points by a defenseman in a single season.
- First defenseman in the NHL to post back-to-back 75-points seasons since Brian Leetch (1995-96/96-97)
Needless to say Burnzie is deserving of his Norris Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award nominations this season. Let the Wookie win!
