Alumni Summer Classic Game
The Washington Capitals Alumni Association will host an Alumni Summer Classic Game on Tuesday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m. at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The event is free and open to the general public.
Alumni scheduled to participate include: Peter Bondra, Nelson Burton, Frederic Cassivi, Sylvain Cote, John Druce, Chris Ferraro, Peter Ferraro, Alan Hangsleben, Bryan Helmer, Matt Herr, Brent Johnson, Dmitri Khristich, Olie Kolzig, Mike Knuble, Yvon Labre, Craig Laughlin, Alan May, Kelly Miller, Paul Mulvey, Dave Parro, Pat Peake, Matt Pettinger, Errol Rausse and Ken Sabourin.
Teams will be coached by Kolzig and Labre.

Bourbon & Cigar Fundraiser
The Bourbon & Cigar Fundraiser will be held Monday, June 25 from 7-10 p.m. at Top of the Town in Arlington, Va. The Bourbon & Cigar Fundraiser will feature a variety of tastings and custom drinks, as well as a free cigar for every attendee, courtesy of Signature Cigars. All guests will also receive a Capitals-branded custom whiskey tasting glass to use throughout the evening.

The Fundraiser will feature an open bar, and premium hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the evening to complement the selection of fine cigars available to sample while mingling on the rooftop with former Capitals players.

. General admission tickets cost $250. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide scholarship opportunities to select student-athletes from each of the six high school hockey leagues in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area on behalf of the WCAA.
