Bruins Academy Education is a free program that provides Kindergarten through 8th grade teachers in New England with supplemental curriculum materials, created by local teachers, that introduce subjects in new ways by integrating the sport of hockey and the Bruins into engaging Common Core-aligned lessons.

The Bruins Academy Education will accelerate learning through the integration of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), laying the groundwork for inspiring, educating and promoting the next generation to acquire important skills while unlocking their creativity.

Students who complete the lesson plans will receive a completion certificate signed by a Bruins player and have the chance to win a visit to their classroom by Blades, the Bruins mascot! Teachers who participate in The Bruins Academy Education have the opportunity to receive Bruins prizes including autographed merchandise and a Blades classroom visit. Registered teachers are automatically included in the monthly Bruins Academy Education newsletter, which contains program updates, exclusive ticket offers, and contests.
