Among all NHL defensemen in 2019-20, DeAngelo ranked tied for fourth in goals and points. He represented the United States internationally at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship. The Sewell, N.J., native was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round, 19th overall, of the 2014 NHL Draft.
