RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has added the following personnel to its coaching and medical staffs.

Peter Harrold - Skills Development: Harrold appeared in 274 NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings and New Jersey Devils from 2006-15. The Kirtland Hills, Ohio, native registered 42 points (13g, 29a) in his nine-year NHL career and represented the United States at the 2009 IIHF World Championship in Switzerland. Harrold played four seasons at Boston College (Hockey East) from 2002-06 and appeared in two Frozen Fours, including the 2006 National Championship game. Harrold also served as captain of the Eagles his senior year.

Mike Maresca - Massage Therapist: Maresca joins the Hurricanes from the Syracuse Crunch (AHL), where he served as the team's massage therapist for the 2019-20 season. Maresca has also gained experience at The Spa at 500, Art of Massage, New York Spine and Wellness and Massage Envy. Maresca is a graduate of Coker College and the Finger Lakes School of Massage.
