Dwyer, 36, skated in 416 NHL games with the Hurricanes from 2008-15, registering 93 points (42g, 51a). He also posted 196 points (94g, 102a) in 354 career AHL games with Chicago, Albany and Charlotte. Dwyer spent the 2018-19 season playing for the EIHL's Belfast Giants, tallying 61 points (25g, 36a) in 38 games. The Spokane, Wash., native represented the United States at the 2012 IIHF World Championship, recording three points (1g, 2a) in eight games. Dwyer was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 116th overall, of the 2002 NHL Draft and played four seasons of college hockey at Western Michigan.
