Head coach Bill Peters said after practice on Saturday that though the lineup won't change from Friday, the line combinations could be shuffled around. Cam Ward will make his sixth consecutive start in net. Here's what we expect to see roster-wise.

CANES CAN EXTEND WINNING STREAK IN FINAL GAME OF HOMESTAND

The Carolina Hurricanes have an opportunity to extend their winning streak to four games and punctuate their five-game homestand when they host the Winnipeg Jets.
After dropping the first game of their homestand to the Anaheim Ducks, the Hurricanes have tallied consecutive victories over the Washington Capitals, San Jose Sharks and Montreal Canadiens. Friday night's win came against the Eastern Conference's best team, as the Canes handed the Habs just their third regulation loss of the season in a 3-2 decision.
"We're confident in a lot of different areas," head coach Bill Peters said after practice on Saturday. "As long as we're skating, working hard and doing good things, we're a confident group. It's a group that's having a lot of fun and coming together."
Tonight's game is also a chance for the Hurricanes to settle the score with the Jets, who erased a three-goal deficit in the third period to win 5-4 in overtime in the season opener.
"The first game, a lot of it went the way we wanted. There was a big segment of that game that was real good," Peters said. "We've just go to clean up some of the details. We're a different team, and they're a different team from then."
"I think we learned a lot in those two games where we lost after having the lead," Victor Rask said. "We're a new team, and we have three wins in a row right now. We feel pretty good about ourselves."
The Hurricanes are catching the Jets on the latter half of a back-to-back. On Saturday night, the Bruins bested Winnipeg 4-1. The Jets are now winless in the first two games of their five-game road trip and have won just two of seven away from home in the month of November.
Peters said the Hurricanes will not make any lineup changes, but the head coach didn't commit to a set of line combinations.
"I don't know for sure," he said. "We're going to go through Friday's] game a little bit more in detail. We've watched quite a bit of it, but we want to go through it again and see where our shortcomings were through 40 minutes and see what was positive through the final 20. We did some good things early but not on a consistent basis."
On Friday night against Montreal, Peters shortened the bench and shuffled the deck after two periods in which the Canes generated just eight shots on goal and trailed 1-0. He found success doing so, as his team scored thrice in the last 20 minutes.
"I didn't think the McClement line was bad, but every time we go down to three [lines], we seem to generate a little bit more offense," Peters said. "We hadn't generated enough through 40 and felt we had to do something."
Cam Ward will make his sixth consecutive start in net. In the month of November, the Canes netminder is 4-1-2 with a 1.62 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage and has allowed just 12 goals in that stretch.
*CANESPR NOTES:* The Hurricanes are a perfect 16-for-16 on the penalty kill in their last eight games, and the team has the league's best kill at 90.7 percent. … Following tonight's game, the Hurricanes will play nine of their next 11 games on the road.
