The Carolina Hurricanes' preseason schedule continues tonight, as the team travels to Tampa Bay to face off with the Lightning.
On Monday night, the Hurricanes opened their exhibition schedule with a 2-1 overtime win over the Washington Capitals. Patrick Brown put the Hurricanes on top 1-0 late in the first period, and Justin Faulk netted the game-deciding goal on the power play with eight seconds remaining in overtime. Eddie Lack pitched a 16-save shutout through two periods, and Alex Nedeljkovic stopped nine of 10 shots and snagged the win.
