• Frederik Andersen was the team's workhorse in net during Round 1, playing all five games.

• His .912 save percentage in Round 1 ranks sixth among all goalies who played at least four games, and his .867 high-danger save percentage ranks tied for fifth.

On The Other Side

• The league's best regular season team, the Rangers flexed their muscles in a four-game sweep of the Capitals.
• Winning three of the four games by multiple goals, the only possible downside to the quick work is that it's now been a week since they've last played a game.
• Mika Zibanejad led the way for the Rangers with seven points in the four games, while former Hurricane Vincent Trocheck had a team-leading three goals.
• Goaltender Igor Shesterkin gave up just five goals in the four games and his .931 save percentage ranked second-best of all Round 1 goalies who played at least four games.

Injury Updates

• Forward Jesper Fast suffered an upper-body injury in the team's regular season finale on Tuesday, April 16. On Thursday, April 25, Rod Brind'Amour said that he is likely out for the entire postseason.
• Defenseman Brett Pesce suffered a lower-body injury during Round 1, Game 2. Brind'Amour said he's not counting on #22 being available this series, but he remains hopeful he may be able to get in at some point. He did not travel with the team, so he will not be an option for the first two games of the series.

• The team will be wearing their black sweaters for all home games during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and white for all road games.
