Canes' Hockey Fights Cancer Warm-Up Jerseys Feature Personal Touch

On the Carolina Hurricanes' annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night this Saturday, the team will wear special warm-up jerseys that feature a personal touch.

The Adidas warm-up jerseys are black with Hockey Fights Cancer purple accents on the shoulders, sleeves and waistline.

The Canes' primary logo is purple, and the Hockey Fights Cancer logo can be found on the left shoulder.

A closer look reveals the heartwarming element unique to each sweater. Inside every stitched numeral and captains' letters are Season Ticket Member-submitted names recognizing and remembering those closest to them who have or are currently fighting cancer.

In total, more than 400 names are represented across the 22 Canes' jerseys. Seven of these warm-up worn jerseys will be
auctioned off during Saturday's game
, while the rest will be available for
bidding online beginning Nov. 25
to benefit the
Carolina Hurricanes Foundation
and cancer research, awareness and support groups.
