RALEIGH, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes will host the eighth annual Alumni Game presented by Lenovo on Sunday, March 3 at 1:30 p.m. at PNC Arena. This event provides fans a chance to skate alongside Hurricanes alumni and experience an NHL-like gameday at PNC Arena. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. Confirmed Hurricanes alumni participants include Bryan Bickell, Rod Brind'Amour, Erik Cole, Tim Brent, Bates Battaglia, Jesse Boulerice, Shane Willis, Robert Kron, Steve Rice, Jeff Daniels and Sean Hill.

A limited number of roster spots are available for fans interested in participating in the Alumni Game presented by Lenovo. Players must be at least 18 years old and have hockey-playing experience. The entry fee for playing in the Alumni Game is $3,250 and includes participation in the game on the ice and the full gameday player experience. In addition, participants will receive two tickets for the Hurricanes' home game against the St. Louis Blues on March 1, and they will practice on the ice at PNC Arena prior to a Team Announcement Party on Saturday March 2. They will also receive a personalized Hurricanes jersey with a special Alumni Game patch, a downloadable version of the Alumni Game, and access for four people to a cocktail reception following the Alumni Game.

The event is open to the public and no ticket is required, through there will be an optional contribution at the door to benefit the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. Stormy and the Pepsi Storm Squad will be in attendance, and off-ice activities at the game will be very similar to a Hurricanes home game. The game will consist of three 20-minute periods and include one intermission following the second period. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and fans should park and enter on the East side of PNC Arena.
